Shona Robison MSP

Shona Robison is the Member of the Scottish Parliament for the seat of Dundee East and following the SNP victory at the 2007 elections has become the Minister for Public Health in the Scottish Government.

Shona was first elected to represent Dundee East constituency at the Scottish Parliament elections in 2003 when she defeated the sitting MSP John McAllion of Labour. Shona was returned to the Scottish Parliament at the 2007 elections on an increased majority and her acceptance speech can be seen at the right of the page.

Shona is married to Stewart Hosie, the Member of the Westminster Parliament for the Dundee East constituency. Shona and Stewart have a young daughter and live in the constituency they both represent in the respective houses of Parliament.
